Installation Notes

Installing the Audi 8V carbon hood is a direct replacement of the OEM steel hood. Professional installation is recommended:

1. Disconnect the battery; remove washer hoses and any sensors.
2. Remove hood hinge bolts and gas struts; lift the OEM hood (minimum 2 people).
3. Align the carbon hood to the hinges and hand-tighten the supplied bolts.
4. Adjust hood front lock height, lateral alignment, and panel-gap clearances.
5. Final-torque all fasteners to the manufacturer's recommended torque; test the safety latch.
6. Reconnect washer hoses and sensors.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from the surface. Avoid spraying water directly into the engine bay during washing.
