Installation Notes

Installing the BMW M2 F87 carbon front grille can be done without removing the bumper. Professional installation is recommended:

1. Open the hood and access the grille clips from behind.
2. Compress the plastic clips and push the OEM grilles out toward the front.
3. Install the new carbon grilles using the same clip pattern.
4. Press until each clip audibly seats.
5. Verify the grille edges sit flush with the bumper.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface.

FAQ

Does grille installation require bumper removal?
No. The OEM grilles are released via clips from behind through the open hood; the bumper stays in place.

Does this fit the BMW M2 G87 (2023+)?
No. F87 and G87 have different front-end and grille geometry. G87 kidneys are much larger and differently framed. A separate G87 carbon grille is available.

Compatible with both M2 base (N55) and M2 Competition (S55)?
Yes. This grille set fits all F87 variants: 2016-2018 M2 Coupé (N55), 2018-2021 M2 Competition (S55), and M2 CS (S55).

Is the BMW roundel emblem included?
No, the emblem is not included. The OEM BMW roundel can be transferred to the new carbon grille.
