Installation Notes

Installing the BMW M2 F87 carbon V slim spoiler requires no drilling. It uses 3M VHB tape:

1. Clean the rear trunk-lid edge with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Make sure ambient and surface temperatures are at least 18°C.
3. Test-fit the spoiler and mark alignment with masking tape.
4. Peel the 3M tape liner, place the spoiler, and press firmly across every point for 30 seconds.
5. Do not wash the car for 24 hours to allow the tape to fully cure.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface.

FAQ

Can the V slim spoiler be installed without drilling?
Yes. It mounts with industrial 3M VHB tape, no holes in the trunk lid.

Does this fit the BMW M2 G87 (2023+)?
No. F87 and G87 have different chassis codes and trunk-lid geometry. A separate carbon spoiler is available for G87.

Compatible with both M2 base (N55) and M2 Competition (S55)?
