Installation Notes

Installing the BMW F80 / F82 MP carbon side skirts uses screws into the OEM skirt and/or 3M tape:

1. Raise the vehicle and clean the lower skirt surface (alcohol or silicone remover).
2. Test-fit the new carbon extension along the OEM skirt.
3. Secure to OEM mounting points with supplied hardware to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
4. If 3M tape is supplied, apply and maintain pressure for at least 24 hours.
5. Confirm left/right symmetry — ground-to-skirt gap should be equal.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from the surface.

FAQ

Does this fit the G80 / G82?
No. G80 / G82 (2021+) use different side skirt geometry and the S58 engine. A separate G-generation carbon side skirt is available.

Is there a difference between F80 Sedan and F82 Coupé fitment?
No. This MP side skirt fits both F80 Sedan and F82 Coupé/F83 Convertible side skirts — factory geometry is identical across these models.

Compatible with standard, Competition, CS, and GTS trims?
Yes. All F80/F82 trims share the same side skirt mounting geometry.

Does this fit the M2 F87?
No. M2 F87 has different wheelbase and skirt dimensions; a separate F87 carbon side skirt is available.

Fits the F83 Cabriolet?
