Installation Notes

The BMW F80 / F82 VRS carbon hood mounts to OEM hinges and gas struts. Professional installation recommended:

1. Transfer the OEM sound insulation pad (if equipped) to the new hood.
2. Loose-fit the hood at the hinges and align panel gaps to OEM fender lines.
3. Reattach OEM gas struts; verify the lightweight hood is fully held up.
4. Adjust the latch for proper closing.
