Installation Notes

Installing the BMW G80 / G82 carbon hood fin takes about 30 minutes:

1. Open the hood; clean the mounting area with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Dry-fit the fin and mark its position.
3. Remove the 3M VHB tape backing.
4. Press the fin firmly onto the marked position.
5. Avoid washing for 24 hours; full adhesive cure takes 72 hours.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Because of the adhesive tape, keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface and at a low angle. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months.
