Engineered for BMW M3 G80 and M4 G82 owners, this Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System replaces the OEM airbox with a carbon fiber tube and open cone performance filter. Manufactured in Europe and quality-controlled by BYC Performance, the system feeds cool air directly to the S58 turbo inlet.

The OEM airbox uses a paper filter and narrow plastic channels — creating air starvation at high rpm on the S58. The performance intake:

Installation Notes

  1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool.
  2. Remove the OEM airbox cover and main hose.
  3. Carefully label and remove the MAF and IAT sensors.
  4. Install the new carbon intake tube + cone filter on OEM mounting points.
  5. Attach MAF/IAT sensors to the new tube (torque: 4-6 Nm).
  6. Tighten clamps (3-5 Nm) and check for air leaks.

Care & Maintenance

Wash the performance filter with cotton-gauze cleaner and re-oil every 15,000-20,000 km. Clean the carbon surface with pH-neutral car shampoo.
