Engineered for Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door X290 (2018-2024) owners, this Prepreg Dry Carbon Fiber Roof Spoiler is an aero accent installed at the rear edge of the fastback roof. Manufactured in Europe and quality-controlled by BYC Performance, this roof spoiler bonds directly to the OEM rear roof edge.

Of our three X290 spoiler designs, this is the only one mounted on the roof (not the trunk). Trunk versions are offered as the classic Spoiler and the GT Spoiler. All three can be combined or chosen individually.

Installation Notes

1. Clean and dry the rear roof edge with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Test-fit the roof spoiler; ensure no contact with the rear glass.
3. Peel 3M protective film progressively, press the spoiler onto the roof edge.
4. Apply firm pressure for 5-10 minutes.
5. Avoid car washes for 24 hours.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure-washer nozzle 30 cm from tape edges.

No.

Difference from the trunk spoilers?
The Roof Spoiler mounts on the rear roof edge, not the trunk. Trunk versions are the classic Spoiler and the GT Spoiler. Three distinct positions; can be stacked.

Same X290 roof edge geometry across trims.

Can the roof spoiler and a trunk spoiler be combined?
