Installation Notes

Installing the Porsche 718 carbon spoiler uses adhesive and supplied hardware. Professional installation is recommended:

1. Clean the rear deck surface with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Test-fit the spoiler base; do not remove the adhesive backing yet.
3. Mark alignment, then press 3M double-sided tape firmly into place.
4. If supplied bolts are included, torque from the trunk inner surface to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
5. Do not wash for 24 hours so the adhesive can reach full strength.

Care and Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface.

FAQ

Compatible with the Boxster?
Generally no. The 718 Boxster folding soft-top and integrated factory spoiler design are not suitable for this style of aftermarket rear wing. Primary target is the 718 Cayman coupe.

Does this fit the 981?
No. The 981 (2013-2016) and 982 (2016+) have different deck/trunk geometry.

Does this fit the GT4 RS?
No. The Cayman GT4 RS (2022+) ships with a factory swan-neck wing.

Does this fit the Spyder or GT4?
The GT4 and Spyder come with factory active/fixed wings; this product is not designed as an add-on or replacement for those.

Will rain damage dry carbon parts?
No. Autoclave-cured prepreg carbon is fully waterproof and weather-resistant.
