The swan neck mounting system keeps the high-pressure flow on top of the wing unobstructed by uprights — generating more downforce at the same angle of attack. Porsche applies the same solution on the GT3 R, 991 GT3 Cup and 718 Cayman GT4 RS. The 982 Cayman's fixed coupé rear deck provides a natural mounting base for this high-mount wing, which is why this product is engineered Cayman-only. Autoclave-cured prepreg carbon is noticeably lighter than wet-lay carbon, offers very high strength for its weight and is UV-resistant.

Installation Notes

1. Clean the rear deck / trunk lid surface with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Use the template to mark upright drill points.
3. Drill the specified hole size and apply seam sealant.
4. Bolt the swan-neck uprights to the rear deck.
5. Mount the wing profile to the uprights; tighten hex bolts in sequence.
6. Tighten upright bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
7. Professional installation strongly recommended.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface.

FAQ

Does this fit the 981?
No. The 981 has different rear deck geometry.

Compatible with the Boxster?
No. The Boxster's folding soft-top rear deck cannot accept a high-mount swan-neck wing. This product is Cayman-only.

Compatible with the GT4 RS?
The GT4 RS already ships with a factory swan-neck wing; this part is an upgrade for non-RS Caymans. Verify fitment before ordering.

Does installation require drilling?
Yes. The swan-neck uprights bolt through the rear deck panel and require drilling with seam sealant.

Can the trunk still open?
Yes. The wing's high mount does not obstruct the trunk lid opening clearance.
