In the 911 Coupé's rear-engine flat-6 aerodynamics, airflow over the rear glass moves toward the active rear spoiler area uncontrolled. A roof spoiler smooths this flow, increases rear spoiler efficiency, and improves rear-axle balance at speed. All Coupé trims from the 991.2 Carrera 3.0L turbo to the 580 hp Turbo S and 500 hp GT3 NA share the same roof and rear-glass geometry. Autoclave-cured dry carbon is far stronger than wet-lay parts.

Installation Notes

1. Clean the upper rear-window edge with isopropyl alcohol and dry fully.
2. Dry-fit the spoiler before peeling the 3M tape liner.
3. Install at surface temperature 18-25°C.
4. Remove tape liner, center the spoiler, press firmly into place.
5. Avoid washing the car for 24 hours so the adhesive can reach full strength.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer 30 cm away and avoid direct spray on the tape edge.

Does this fit the 992 (2020+)?
No. 992-generation roof and rear-glass geometry is different.

Does this fit the 997?
No. The 997 is the previous generation.

Compatible with Cabriolet or Targa?
No. Cabriolet has a folding soft top and Targa has a glass semi-open roof — neither has a fixed Coupé glass roof.
