Installation Notes

Professional installation is recommended:

1. Clean the front bumper lower edge with IPA (isopropyl alcohol).
2. Dry-fit the lip and verify equal alignment on both sides.
3. Peel the 3M tape backing and seat the lip against the bumper lower edge. Apply firm pressure for 30 seconds per contact point.
4. Align hardware holes and secure with supplied bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
5. Verify front approach angle remains acceptable for daily use.
6. Do not wash the vehicle for 24 hours to allow adhesive curing.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from the surface. PPF film recommended for the lower edge against curbs and debris.

FAQ

Does this fit Audi R8 Gen 2 (2015-2024)?
No. Gen 1 and Gen 2 have different front bumper geometry. A separate Gen 2 (2015-2024) front lip is available in our catalog.

Compatible with Audi R8 Spyder (convertible)?
Yes. The Spyder Gen 1 shares the same front bumper and lip geometry.

Difference between R8 V8 4.2 and V10 5.2?
No fitment difference. Front bumper geometry is identical across all Gen 1 trims.

Compatible with Lamborghini Huracán?
No. The Huracán has a different front bumper geometry.

Will the lip scrape on curbs?
The lip extends approximately 4-5 cm down from the bumper. Acceptable for daily use at stock ride height, but approach steep ramps carefully.
