Installation Notes

Installing the BMW G20 carbon front lip uses an adhesive + screw combination at the bumper's lower edge. Professional installation is recommended:

1. Clean the bumper's lower edge with isopropyl alcohol and dry thoroughly.
2. Test-fit the front lip and check gap alignment.
3. Apply 3M double-sided tape and use the supplied hardware.
4. Torque screw points to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
5. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours; do not wash for 48 hours.
6. Take care to avoid high curbs when parking.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface. Avoid high curbs and speed bumps.

FAQ

Does this fit the G20 LCI (2023+)?
No. G20 LCI facelift has different front bumper geometry. A separate carbon front lip for the LCI is available in our catalog.

Will it fit if I don't have the M Sport bumper?
No. The front lip is only compatible with G20 models equipped with the M Sport bumper package.

Compatible with 320i, 330i and M340i?
Yes. This front lip fits all M Sport-equipped G20 Sedan gasoline (320i, 330i, M340i, 330e) and diesel (320d, 330d) engine variants.

Is this the same as the BMW M3 G80?
No. The M3 G80 has entirely different front bumper geometry; a separate M3 G80 carbon front lip is available in our catalog.

Will it come loose at high speeds?
No. The combination of 3M VHB tape and mechanical screws provides secure attachment at standard highway speeds.

Will rain damage dry carbon parts?
