Installation Notes

Installing the BMW M2 F87 GTS carbon hood requires complete removal of the OEM hood. Professional installation is strongly recommended:

1. Open the hood and transfer the underhood insulation pad if reused.
2. Disconnect windshield washer hoses.
3. Disconnect gas struts on both sides.
4. With two people, loosen hinge bolts and lift off the OEM hood.
5. Install the carbon hood on hinges and adjust panel gaps (~5 mm front, ~4 mm sides).
6. Fine-tune hood stop bumpers so height is flush with fenders.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer at least 30 cm from surface.
