Installation Notes

Installing the BMW M2 G87 carbon fender air vent is owner-installable:

1. Clean the fender surface with isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
2. Dry-fit the vents to the fender cutout; mark front and rear gaps.
3. Peel the pre-applied 3M VHB tape liner.
4. Press the vents into place and secure with the supplied clips.
5. Install at an ambient temperature of at least 18°C; do not wash the vehicle for 24 hours.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from the surface. Regularly clean any mud or bug residue from inside the vent.

Does this part require fender trimming?
No. The M2 G87 has an OEM fender vent cutout; the part fits this cutout exactly — no additional drilling or trimming needed.

Does this part fit the BMW M2 F87 (2016-2021)?
No. G87 and F87 have different fender geometry; the F87 does not have a vent cutout in this location. A separate catalog is available for F87.

Can I buy just one side?

Is it compatible with the S58-powered M2 G87?
