Installation Notes

  1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool (at least 30 minutes).
  2. Remove the OEM bolt to be replaced and install its titanium equivalent (per kit map).
  3. Apply the OEM torque spec for each bolt (typically M6: 9 Nm, M8: 22 Nm, M10: 45 Nm — BMW spec).
  4. Do NOT use anti-seize compound; titanium is sensitive to it.
  5. Once complete, reinstall the engine cover.

Care & Maintenance

Clean titanium surfaces with pH-neutral car shampoo. Never use hydrofluoric-acid-based cleaners. Periodic carbon-safe sealant may be applied for matte finishes.
