Installation Notes

Installing the BMW M5 F90 carbon lip spoiler is fully adhesive — no drilling or permanent modification:

1. Clean and degrease the trunk lid surface with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Test-fit the spoiler before peeling the 3M VHB tape backing; mark the position lightly.
3. Bring the trunk lid surface to at least 20°C (gently warm with a heat gun if necessary).
4. Peel the VHB tape release liner and press the spoiler firmly into place.
5. Do not wash the car or slam the trunk for the first 24 hours to allow full adhesion.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface and avoid spraying directly along the adhesive edge.

Do I need to drill holes?

Is this the same as the BMW M5 F10?
