The McLaren P1 combines a 3.8L twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor (PHEV) for 903 hp combined - a key member of the era's hybrid hypercar Holy Trinity (LaFerrari + Porsche 918 Spyder + P1). About the P1 GTR - Why a GTR Kit?

The factory McLaren P1 GTR (2015-2017) was a 986 hp track-only model built for 58 P1 owners. The P1 LM (2016 Lanzante, 5 units) is the road-legal GTR variant. This GTR body kit lets a standard road P1 wear the GTR visual language - large rear wing, aggressive splitter, wide bumper apertures.

Installation Notes

P1 body kit installation must be performed by a McLaren-certified technician. With active aerodynamics (motorized wing), wing replacement requires coordinated configuration. General procedure:

1. Place the vehicle on a certified-shop lift; remove front and rear bumpers.
2. Document current wing actuator and wiring connections.
3. Detach side skirts; dry-fit each carbon piece.
4. Verify actuator configuration for the GTR wing.
5. Secure with supplied hardware + clips to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
6. Final torque pass; verify all connections before any track use.
