This spoiler is designed for the 982 Cayman's fixed coupé rear deck. The 718 Boxster cannot use the same rear-deck spoiler because of its folding soft-top construction — so this product is offered Cayman-only. The 718 Cayman family covers 2.0L / 2.5L flat-4 turbos through to the 4.0L flat-6 naturally-aspirated 500 hp engine of the GT4 RS; this dry carbon spoiler preserves OEM aero balance while delivering a clean visual detail. Autoclave-cured prepreg carbon is noticeably lighter than wet-lay carbon, structurally stronger and UV-resistant.

Important notes:

• This product is Cayman-only. The 718 Boxster's folding soft-top rear deck cannot accept the same rear-deck spoiler. A separate Boxster solution is recommended.

• The GT4 RS ships with a motorsport swan-neck wing; this product is a different style and less aggressive aerodynamically.

Installation Notes

1. Clean the rear deck surface with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Remove the 3M protective film from the spoiler contact surface.
3. Test-fit the spoiler for alignment.
4. Tighten bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
5. Do not drive the car for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to cure.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface. Do not wash for the first 48 hours.

FAQ

Does this fit the 981?
No. The 981 has different rear deck geometry.

Compatible with the Boxster?
No. The Boxster's folding soft-top rear deck cannot accept the same rear-deck spoiler. This product is Cayman-only.

Compatible with the GT4 RS?
The GT4 RS ships with a motorsport swan-neck wing; this is a different spoiler style and less aerodynamically aggressive than the GT4 RS wing.

Compatible with the Spyder?
No. The Spyder uses the Boxster chassis and does not share the same rear deck.

Does it conflict with the OEM active wing?
This is a lip-style spoiler that does not interfere with the Cayman's active rear wing motion. Verify fitment per trim before ordering.
