Installation Notes

Professional installation is recommended:

1. Raise the vehicle safely.
2. Loosen OEM side skirt clips with a plastic trim tool and remove the skirt.
3. Clean the mounting surface with IPA.
4. Dry-fit the carbon skirt; verify alignment at the front bumper and rear fender transitions.
5. Secure with supplied bolts and clips to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
6. Repeat on the opposite side and check for equal ride-height gap on both sides.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from the surface. PPF film recommended for the lower edge against stone chips.

FAQ

Does this fit Audi R8 Gen 2 (2015-2024)?
No. Gen 1 and Gen 2 have different side-skirt geometry. A separate Gen 2 (2015-2024) carbon side skirt is available in our catalog.

Compatible with Audi R8 Spyder (convertible)?
Yes. The Spyder Gen 1 shares identical side skirt geometry with the Coupé.

Difference between R8 V8 4.2 and V10 5.2?
No fitment difference. Side skirt geometry is identical across all Gen 1 trims.

Does this mount over or replace the OEM skirt?
This is a replacement part - the OEM side skirt is removed and the carbon part takes its place. Not an add-on.

Compatible with Lamborghini Huracán?
No. The Huracán shares the MLBevo platform with Gen 2 (2015-2024) only, and the rocker geometry differs from R8 either way.

Will rain damage dry carbon?
