Installation Notes

Carbon hood replacement requires professional installation:

1. Prop the stock hood open and detach the gas struts and latch mechanism.
2. Loosen hinge bolts, lift the stock hood with a helper.
3. Place the carbon hood onto the hinges, loosely fasten bolts.
4. Check alignment (front gap, side gap), torque hinge bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
5. Reconnect the latch mechanism, test closure.
6. Reinstall the gas struts.
