Installation Notes

DIY-capable; professional support recommended:

1. Wipe the stock skirt edge with isopropyl alcohol (bonding surface must be clean).
2. Remove the 3M tape liner (only at the moment of bonding).
3. Align the carbon add-on to the skirt edge, seat the clip points.
4. Press firmly — avoid washing for 24 hours for full bond.
5. Repeat for the opposite side.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral shampoo. After track use, wipe with a carbon-safe cleaner. Apply carbon sealant every 6 months.

FAQ

Compatible with CLA C117?
No. C117 and C118 have different side-profile geometry.

Difference between Add-on and full Side Skirt?
This add-on bonds to the stock skirt. The full skirt replaces the stock part. Choose the add-on to preserve the stock skirt, the full skirt for an aggressive replacement.

Does the 3M tape hold in the heat?
Yes. Automotive-grade 3M VHB tape holds across a wide temperature range; daily, wash, and track use are fine.

Can it be removed later?
Yes, it can be removed with a heat gun + plastic pry tool. Far more reversible than the full replacement.

Are left and right sold separately?
No, sold as a pair.
