Installation Notes

1. Open the hood and secure the prop rod.
2. Disconnect gas struts and remove hinge bolts.
3. With two installers, lift the new hood onto the hinge points.
4. Torque hinge bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
5. Adjust latch and panel gaps.
6. Reconnect gas struts and test closure.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer at least 30 cm from surface.

Does this fit the Porsche 911 992?
No. The 992 (2020+) has different hood, headlight and bumper geometry.

Does this fit the Porsche 911 997?
No. The 997 (2005-2012) is the previous generation.
