Installation Notes

Installing the BMW F80 / F82 carbon 3D front lip is a direct bolt-on under the front bumper. Professional installation is recommended:

1. Raise the vehicle and remove front bumper underbody splash shield screws.
2. Test-fit the lip against the bumper lower edge for alignment.
3. Position the lip into the factory pilot holes under the bumper.
4. Secure with supplied 3M VHB tape and hardware to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
5. Install on a dry, clean surface at room temperature for best bonding.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface. Take care over steep driveways and speed bumps.

What's the difference between 3D lip and MP lip?
MP lip is the OEM M Performance factory line. 3D lip is a tri-step aftermarket design — more aggressive, with greater projection.

Does this fit the G80 / G82?
No. G80 / G82 (2021+) uses a different bumper geometry and S58 engine. A separate G-generation carbon front lip is available in our catalog.

Is there a difference between F80 Sedan and F82 Coupé fitment?
No. F80 sedan and F82 coupé / F83 convertible share the same front bumper and M Performance lip cutout.

Compatible with M4 CS, GTS, and Competition trims?
Yes. All F80/F82 trims (standard, Competition, CS, GTS) share the same front bumper mounting geometry.

Does this fit the BMW M2 F87?
No. M2 F87 has different bumper geometry.

Does it fit the F83 Cabriolet?
