Installation Notes

Installing the BMW F80 / F82 CS front lip is a screw-down job on the lower edge of the OEM front bumper. Professional installation is recommended:

1. Raise the vehicle and access the front bumper lower screws.
2. Test-fit the new carbon CS lip along the lower bumper edge.
3. Secure with supplied hardware to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
4. Verify even gap between lip and bumper across the full width.
5. If 3M double-sided tape is supplied, apply for additional adhesion.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from the surface.

FAQ

Does this CS lip fit the G80 / G82?
No. G80 / G82 (2021+) use a different front bumper and the S58 engine. A separate G-generation carbon front lip is available.

Is there a difference between F80 Sedan and F82 Coupé fitment?
No. This CS lip fits both F80 Sedan and F82 Coupé/F83 Convertible front bumpers — factory front bumper geometry is identical across these models.

Compatible with standard, Competition, and GTS trims?
Yes. All F80/F82 trims (standard, Competition, CS, GTS) share the same front bumper and lip mounting geometry.

Does this lip fit the M2 F87?
No. M2 F87 has different chassis and bumper geometry; a separate F87 carbon front lip is available.

Fits the F83 Cabriolet?
