Installation Notes

1. With the engine cool, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2. Remove OEM airbox bolts and disconnect the MAF sensor connector.
3. Remove the OEM airbox.
4. Install the new cold-air intake duct on OEM mounting points.
5. Mount the MAF sensor in the specified position on the new duct.
6. Secure the filter, check all connections.
7. Reconnect the battery; drive 10 km for ECU adaptation.

Care & Maintenance

Every 30,000 km, remove the filter and clean / re-oil per manufacturer instructions. Do not reinstall a wet filter. Higher-dust environments may require more frequent service.

Are there gains without a tune?
Without a tune the primary benefits are sharper intake sound and throttle response. Max gain requires a proper ECU tune.

Does it fit the E60?
No. E60 S85 V10 has different intake geometry.

Does it fit the F90?
No. F90 S63B44T4 uses a different engine bay layout.

Will rain enter the engine bay?
The duct geometry is sealed; standard rain does not pose a risk. Avoid deep water crossings.

Can I revert to OEM?
Yes. The system is reversible; the OEM airbox can be reinstalled.
