The Urus S and Urus Performante differ from the base Urus with 666 hp, a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine and redesigned hood air vents. This carbon hood preserves the integrated carbon vent geometry of the S and Performante to keep engine bay cooling at OEM levels, while being noticeably lighter than the factory aluminum hood and contributing meaningfully to front-axle weight reduction.

Installation Notes

Urus S / Performante carbon hood installation involves removing the OEM hood and bolting the new carbon hood to the same hinges. Professional installation is strongly recommended.

1. Open the hood and secure the support strut before removing.
2. Disconnect the washer line and any hood sensors.
3. Loosen hinge bolts (two-person lift recommended; the hood is heavy).
4. Align the carbon hood to the hinge points and finger-tighten bolts.
5. Check open/close alignment and verify bumper and fender gaps.
6. Torque bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque and reconnect the washer line.

Care & Maintenance

Wash with pH-neutral car shampoo. Apply carbon-safe sealant every 6 months. Keep pressure washer nozzle at least 30 cm from surface.
